My wife and I planned a Northern Ireland vacation and didn't want to travel too far after just arriving in Belfast on a red eye flight. Most people spend all their time in Northern Ireland along the Northern coast, but we wanted to see at least a bit of the interior (which I highly recommend) so we looked for lodgings between Belfast International and Derry, and settled on The Coach House.I communicated with Sharon before we arrived about some special requests and she was most accommodating. After a few emails back and forth I felt like we were old friends. We've traveled pretty widely to many countries and US states and I will say that this is the best stay we've ever had, any place, any price. The coach house and hosts Sharon and Andrew were truly amazing. The main house, where the family lives, looks like a well kept vintage home but it was built only 10 or so years ago. It was designed meticulously in the Irish Georgian style and is furnished in period antiques. Clearly no expense was spared on the house, the grounds or the furnishing. Andrew showed us around and described any and all furnishings and original artwork. Fresh scones, real coffee (not that Cafe Americano stuff) and local strawberries were delicious and much welcomed. Rooms are in the Carriage House which is only a few years old but built to reflect the styling of the main house. The rooms are large and they are also appointed with genuine antiques. The bathroom is modern, although the shower fittings are a replica of an antique setup (ask Andrew about it). We felt like we were staying in one of the Queen's vacation homes.Other reviews have described the wonderful breakfast so I'll only say that it was the best B and B breakfast we've ever enjoyed.I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that you simply can't go wrong by staying at The Coach House.

Fantastic! You simply could not fault the accommodation, the hospitality or the food.
